  The food here is to die for. Went for a group christmas party so we had "the chef's selection": a 5 course dinner of surprises. Fantastic, amazing, very delicious, filling and so flavoursome. There is also a vast selection of boutique wines and a great selection of beers. Or if you like mixed drinks there is a good selection as well. There is a good selection of whisky and scotch however those are pricey compared to other beverages. Definitely recommend this place for a fancy night out enjoying scrumptious food.

  My time at Tomlin was nothing short of phenomenal. The 5 course family style meal was an incredible culinary experience. The kitchen staff, who can be seen at the back of the restaurant, achieved a level of cuisine that is rare to find. The hospitality at Tomlin surpassed and exceeded my expectations. We were greeted and felt like family from the moment we were seated. The staff was incredibly accommodating to the needs of someone with an allergy, making them feel comfortable and not compromising on the quality of the food. The fried cauliflower was perfectly balanced with just the right amount of acidity from the pomegranate and the roasted chicken was perfectly cooked over a bed of rich, creamy potato stew. We finished the meal with sweet potato tart and the most velvety vanilla bean panna cotta. Thunder Bay is a city of amazing food and drink, it is difficult to compete with the many "hipster" pubs and fine dinning restaurants. However, Tomlin stands out and surpasses them all. I had an incredible experience and would definitely have to say this is the best restaurant in Thunder Bay. Well done. I hope to see you all soon.

  Another world class experience at The Tomlin. It is nice to go to a place where the people care about what they do. Kudos to a great dining experience........ again!
